There has been a Jeep stolen from a lock-up garage near Halifax in early Feb this year
Details are: Ford Jeep 1942 (reg : 47)
Reg JP 6054, mileage approx 48,100.
Engine no 550288,
Chassis no 180301.
Paint gloss green
Serial no on bonnet M303411.
Arms of Service has 83 on it,
Div badge a bit vague but possibly Airborne.
This jeep has some unusual tread pattern tyres,
re-moulds bought in the 70's
Also stolen with it was a deactivated SMLE (Bolt Action Lee Enfield) 25966J
The rifle if offered for sale will be without its cert.
It looks like someone is getting a little bit zealous on parking outside Broomie's mill.
Maybe the staff think that if they have to be there that the boss should stick around aswell !
